Regional Manure Marketing Information

Since 1997, the Sustainable Poultry Farming Group conducted manure fertilization field trials designed to assess the ability of poultry manure to act as a cost-effective replacement for chemical fertilizer. These trials continue to be carried out in various areas throughout the central and southwestern British Columbia . Trial results below exemplify the benefits and cost-effectiveness of manure use on individual farms/ranches at the following locations:
